1. Who We Are
Wrench is a field service management platform ("Wrench," "we," "us," or "our") available at app.getwrenchapp.com. We build software for small and solo service businesses — plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, landscapers, and other trades professionals.

2. Your Account
To use Wrench you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate information when you sign up
- Notifying us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One person or business may not maintain more than one free trial account.
3. Subscription & Billing
Wrench is offered on a monthly subscription at $25/month (or the current rate displayed at signup). Your subscription includes:
- A 14-day free trial — no credit card required to start
- Access to all features included in the plan at the time of signup
- Up to 10 team members on one account
After your trial ends, your subscription will be billed monthly. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file on a recurring basis until you cancel. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice to active subscribers via email.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right.
5. Your Data
You own your data. The customer records, job history, invoices, and business information you enter into Wrench belong to you. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We store your data securely using Supabase infrastructure. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
By using Wrench, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Wrench only for lawful business purposes. You may not:
- Use the platform to harass, spam, or defraud customers
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
- Share your account credentials with people outside your business
- Use Wrench to store or transmit illegal content
- Resell or sublicense access to the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
7. SMS & Communications
Wrench includes SMS automation features that send text messages to your customers on your behalf. By using these features, you confirm that:
- You have obtained appropriate consent from your customers to receive SMS messages
- You will comply with applicable laws including the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act)
- You are responsible for the content of messages sent to your customers
SMS messaging requires a connected Twilio account. Message and data rates may apply to your customers based on their carrier.
8. Availability & Uptime
We aim to keep Wrench available 24/7 but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (such as Supabase or Vercel), or unforeseen issues may occasionally affect availability. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
Wrench is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before major changes take effect. Continuing to use Wrench after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
